Sky High in Chile - Day 8
With over 30,000 people expected to attend the first public day of FIDAE, expectations were high for everyone. FIDAE only happens once every two years and is an air expo that is fast moving to the top. The vendors are recognizing this and flooding the conference halls, and the ramp is filled with aircraft.

And in addition to the business aspect of the air expo, there is the entertainment. That is where the Air National Guard’s Band of the Central States comes in. They performed over the weekend and rocked the crowds.

More Cow Bells!!!!

And then it was back to the flying.

And the Chilean Halcone.

And to close the show down was the Brazilian Demo Team, Força Aérea Brasileira.

And here are a few random pics. Flags from the many countries in attendance at FIDAE.

An interesting shot of all the Air Force tails…representing the Air Mobility Command, the Air National Guard, and the Air Force Reserve Command.

And one final shot. I really like this one.
